The Planetarium at Navarro College, housed at the Cook Education Center, is a large circular theater with a 60-foot diameter dome screen and 200 seats that specializes in showing informative astronomy and science themed programs.
The planetarium is primarily used as a Navarro College classroom and as an educational field trip destination for area schools and community organizations.

During the school year, the planetarium is used exclusively for Navarro College courses
and group scheduling Monday through Friday. The planetarium is closed during all College holidays. |
The planetarium offers a schedule of presentations for the general public throughout the year. Our schedule is subject to change in response to the needs of Navarro College, large groups, private events, or equipment breakdowns and maintenance. Please call the Cook Education Center at (903) 875-7596 to verify the current planetarium schedule.
Normal Operational Hours: Available for group reservations / presentations Monday – Friday, 10:00am – 4:00pm. Hours for public programming will vary depending upon currently posted schedule.
Admissions: $3.00 per person (for both public programming and private group presentations during normal operational hours)
After-Hours Programming: $600 per hour (private showings outside normal operational hours and public schedule – maximum group size 200 people)
